Additionally, we hope to be able to use these newsletters to relay important team information, such as, upcoming fundraisers, budget/ dues/ fees updates, and any LVSC policy or administrative changes.

Non- Swimming Achievements and Accomplishments:
LVSC’s goal is to create healthy, well- rounded, creative, and positive swimmers who excel not only in the water but in the community as well. We would like to start highlighting swimmers each month who have been recognized for their achievements outside of the pool, both in the monthly newsletter and in a new section on the team website. If your swimmer has an accomplishment you would like highlighted please email [email protected]. Examples: academic honor roll, citizenship or community involvement awards, other athletic awards/medals/ recognitions.

1St Annual LVSC Golf Tournament:
LVSC is hosting its first annual golf tournament on Friday, March 10th. This event is designed as a great fundraiser to help support LVSC while also providing a fun, friendly opportunity for team and community members to golf, eat, and enjoy the beautiful Vegas spring weather (fingers crossed). We are still in need of sponsorships, prize donations, and team sign – ups. Additional information and opportunities to sign- up will be available at Frosty Fling this weekend. You can also email Ryan McCarthy at [email protected] with any questions or sponsorship interest.
Travel Meet Fees:
Beginning with the start of the new year, the travel meet fee for each swimmer attending an out of state meet (such as Central California Junior Olympics) will now be $30. This slight increase will help cover the rising costs of airfare/ gas, lodging, and food expenses for our traveling coaches and meet entrance/ attendance fees.
LVSC Annual Banquet:
We are finalizing the date and details for our annual LVSC banquet this week and will be sending out information soon!! Please keep a look out for more details on this highly anticipated yearly event! In the mean time, please send any photos you have of your swimmer/ LVSC/ your swimmer’s group/ meets to [email protected] so they can be included in the slideshow.
